I first saw this Facebook app advertising in Indonesia, during a Maroon 5 Contest. Indonesia is the second largest country that utilizes Facebook. The Brand was Surya Pro Mild sold by an Indonesian tobacco company GUDANG GARAM TBK PT, You can see the pictures of that promotion here.
Camel Access Paraguay is the second incident I have personally witness of a cigarette brand applications using this method to increase their costumer database.
This application links you with the Camel Paraguay Facebook page eventually, where a user can find info about the next big Camel Cigarette free sampling, Vip party and lots more.
The Camel Paraguay website asks if you are 18 but nothing verification is needed. The Camel Access Website offers pictures, event details and games to play, all revolving around the Camel cigarette Brand.
